@scruethedemiurge I'm sorry that you miss the point, but if you were to look into and read the chapter as a whole that discusses it, you'll understand the point of the whole "thinking lustfully equals sin" concept. It goes to explain that we ourselves can't do anything to "earn" us a ticket to Heaven, like most people believe. Most people believe "If I'm a good person, I'll go to Heaven." Not so. Fact is, no matter what, we will always fall short of "earning" a right into Heaven...

@scruethedemiurge You're twisting the meaning of what Jesus said and meant. We're NOT liable to God for our private thoughts. Jesus was encouraging us to keep our thoughts on good and true and just things, since where the mind goes, the body may well go in the future etc. Sorry, this isn't really the place for a debate - go find a local Christian if you really want to talk about this etc.

@scruethedemiurge why does it always seem like demons come saying some unneccessary things like this. Why would you comment on a video that alot of christians obviously view? Did you think someone would agree? That comment was soo uneccessary.Lol are you serious. You would have better luck posting that comment on a video for Marilyn Manson, or Cannibal Corpse. Oh yeah one more thing you don't see me going on videos like that and saying apposing views just to annoy people. :P

@stevelitchfield Yes, a villan. He was always ranting and raving about hell. His "teaching" implied that people aren't even entitled to their own private thoughts. "If you even look at a woman with lust, you've already committed adultery in your heart." Yes, the notion that men are accountable to "god" and liable for punishment even for their private thoughts - vile tyranny. The "teaching" that we should reject this world (the only world) for a fictitious "kingdom of heaven" - yes, a vilan.
